Our Mission Statement

Loblolly's provides quality cooking and gardening products for our customers while supporting local farmers, artists, laborers, and community organizations.  We offer our knowledge and experience when asked, and foster the idea that embracing gardening and cooking is an honorable, sustainable and achievable goal for everyone.

Our Business

Loblolly's started with an idea that the small community of Shelbyville has a lot to offer.  Besides a highly rated school, an historical church, and friendly hometown atmosphere, we now offer quality shopping for our local folks and visitors.

Borrowing from the local landscape, we named our business after the loblolly pine tree.  The loblolly pine tree is as abundant in Texas and the southeastern U.S. as is our hospitality! 

Who We Are

Loblolly's is owned and operated by local folks.  The Walker's bring their forestry and botanical expertise to the business and Suzanne is known as "not a half-bad cook" although she fancies herself as a homestyle gourmet cook. 

Jamie amd Shelly are Shelby Countians tried and true and are the right arm of Loblolly's. They grew up here and know just about everyone who walks through the door.  They will greet you with a smile and are eager to help!
